:) Hello! I am Luc, longer version is The Luc - so call me TheLook

From Asia to Europe, and then to North America, I eventually found my home in Nova Scotia, Canada. The diversity of cultures and experiences I've encountered along the way has deeply shaped who I am - both as a person and as a photographer.

My journey in photography began in 2019, when my wife surprised me with a camera for my birthday. That unexpected gift sparked a new passion in me. I started capturing the world around me - first focusing on landscapes and seascapes, inspired by the beauty of nature that moved both my eyes and my soul.

As my journey continued, I explored more places, pursued further studies, and developed valuable skills along the way. Some of my photographs have been sold to collectors and now hang on walls in places as far away as Europe and Africa.

In March 2023, I was honored to receive a gold medal in the provincial postgraduate photography contest at Skills Nova Scotia. Later that year, I earned a bronze medal at the national-level Skills Canada competition in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Since 2023, I've grown increasingly drawn to candid photography. Every day, I see people living their lives - busy, joyful, or quietly struggling - in beautifully unique ways. I strive to capture those fleeting moments, preserving raw emotions and honest stories through my lens.

All of my images are taken candidly - none of them staged. My work is deeply inspired by the vision and style of photographers such as Alex Webb, Saul Leiter, Vivian Maier, Pedro Luis Raota.

Photography has become more than just a passion - it's a way for me to connect with the world and tell its countless stories. I will continue nurturing this journey, seeing the world through my own lens, in my own way.

Thank you for dropping by!
